Bin Location Maintenance - Re-Allocate Bin Locations

Use this option to re-allocate items to bin locations for specific transaction types, i.e. invoices, credit notes, goods receipts, stock transfers, works orders, POS dockets and POS credit notes. For each transaction type selected, Micronet scans the active transactions and deletes all multi bin allocations then reallocates item quantities using current bin priorities and free stock levels.

You should do this after you have moved stock between bin locations (e.g. following a stocktake, making adjustments to bin stock levels, or transferring stock between bins) to make sure that stock for orders is coming from the correct bins.

  1. Select MAINTENANCE | ITEM MAINTENANCE | BIN LOCATION MAINTENANCE | RE-ALLOCATE BIN LOCATIONS.

Micronet displays the Re-Allocate Multi Bins screen.
